Janette Gill can’t remember a time when she wasn’t interested in real estate. She’s naturally been drawn to the industry since she was a child – from looking at real estate magazines with her mom, analyzing builder’s floor plans, flow and envisioning what the house would become once it was built – to planning furniture layouts and decor. It’s certainly not a surprise that the duo, Janette Gill and Lucy McCrorie, have evolved their business to include design, decor and staging for their clients. Pre-real estate, some of Janette’s years were spent as a Child and Youth Worker, where she really honed in on her communication and interpersonal skills, which has translated into becoming an empathic and communicative Real Estate Broker. Combining her love for real estate with her love of sales and negotiations, and the desire to work with the public serves their clients well in both buying and selling what is likely their most important asset.

Janette is known for her character and really prides herself on being genuine, compassionate, dedicated and fun, for each and every one of their clients. This has translated into many repeat and referral clients, many of whom Janette is now fortunate enough to call friends. The thrill of the hunt has been Janette’s favourite part of the real estate journey, since becoming a Realtor® in 2014. Watching her clients experience the “this is the one” moment is second to none. Recognizing that the real estate process in the GTA can be stressful, she likes to maintain a fun, upbeat and educational approach to every transaction. Using her cumulative life and work experiences to walk their clients’ step by step through the intricacies of the real estate journey is what gets her out of bed every morning, knowing that she can help play an important role in their clients’ lives.

Janette has spent the last 20 years living in different East end Toronto pockets and currently resides in the Birchcliff neighbourhood in Scarborough. She loves her neighbourhood for the proximity to the city centre, where she can fulfil her “concert junkie” vibes by visiting live music venues across our city, all while still being tucked away in her quiet little pocket close to the Beach, Scarborough Bluffs, and Warden Woods. As a serious animal lover, Janette can be found snuggling their client’s fur babies, while talking business.

When Janette and her work wife Lucy decided to partner together in real estate, they quickly realized that their keen eye for design, decor and home preparation could really benefit their clients. They don’t shy away from rolling up their sleeves and doing the necessary work to prepare a home for the market, allowing it to shine in its best light.
